Bristol University Drama department was the first in the country to offer a degree based training course in 1947. They work closely with the BOV theatre School and the Bristol Old Vic and also have their own performance space, the Glynn Wickham Theatre on Park Row. Their Theatre Collection is an important resource for students of British theatre history. They also offer a programme of evening classes and Saturday dayschools.
